The Heraklion Piano Festival, as part of of its educational outreach, offers a Piano Masterclass to advanced students. The participation  is free of charge and priority will be given to those interested who send a participation application to the Heraklion Piano Festival email: heraklionpianofestival@gmail.com . The Masterclass will also be open with free admission for those who want to attend as listeners. 

Petros Moschos teaches piano (Advanced Piano Workshop) at City Literary Institute in London, as well as at the Centre for Young Musicians – division of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is also a Sessional Lecturer at Morley College teaching piano, piano duo and chamber music.

His students have won prizes in international competitions and festivals (Japan Chopin Competition, Asia Pacific Youth Music Competition, Croydon Festival, North London Festival, Brighton College Young Musician of the Year etc.). He has also been awarded «Certificate of Recognition for Dedicated Excellent Music Teaching» by "Hong Kong Music for Youth".

Petros Moschos has repeatedly appeared in concerts in Greece, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Israel, Venezuela, Canada and the United States of America. He has participated in international festivals such as: Brno International Festival, Janacek Festival, Athens and Epidaurus Festival and others and has performed in venues such as National Concert Hall, (Dubin),  Philharmonic Hall (Odessa),  Olympia Theatre, Steinway Hall (Miami), Teresa Carreno Theatre (Caracas), Teatro Regio di Torino (Turin), Teatro Margarita (Sicily), Meistersinger Ηalle (Nuremberg) Musée Olympique (Lausanne),  Fairfield Hall, St. Johns Smith Square, South Bank Centre (London), Athens Megaron Concert Hall and many others.

He has been soloist with, Filarmonica di Torino, Bad-Wiesse Orchester,  Israeli Festival Orchestra, Fürther Streichholzer Orchester, Florida Classical Orchestra, Janacek Chamber Orchestra, Brampton Symphony Orchestra, Morley Chamber Orchestra, Camden Filarmonia, Chamber Academy Orchestra, Venezuela Youth Orchestra, University of London Symphony OrchestraThessaloniki State Orchestra and others.

He has recorded for the BBC, Czech, Israeli and Bavarian Radio, and CDs with Deux-Elles, Genuin και Classics PMC 333.

He has won a number of National Competitions as well as the "Lilian Davies" award (Royal Academy of Music, London) and the "Eleni Mykonou" prize of the Academy of Athens. Also, in collaboration with Dimitris Karydis, their piano duo (Piano Duo 'Antithesis') has received top prizes in international music competitions such as ‘Murray Dranoff’ Competition (USA), ‘Schubert Competition’ (Czech Republic), the ‘Bellini Competition’, 'Rovere d'Oro Competition', IBLA Grand Prize (Italy), the ‘Donostia Hiria’ (Spain)

He is also a member of the Tetrachord Piano Ensemble, a group of four pianists on two pianos, where they perform rare and contemporary works for this unusual combination.

Petros studied with Dimitris Toufexis, Piers Lane, Frank Wibaut and James Gibb graduating with a Soloist Diploma (Award of Excellence) from the National Conservatory of Athens, a Diploma of Advanced Studies with Merit from the Royal Academy of Music in London, a Master of Arts in Music with distinction, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from City University London.
